  • On-time = 2 points per dodge done right, 1 point for each missed attempt

Assignment #2 – Dodges

For this next assignment, we’re going to watch and try several dodges while we recreate an instructional video.  This one may be more tricky because you will need to use a video as reference while you record yourself trying several of the dodge moves.

The video that we are recreating is posted below.  Please watch the whole video and pick your favourite 4 (or more) dodges.  Then, create your own video by explaining and showing your 4+ dodges to earn up to 8 points.  Remember, for each dodge you do, you will have to say the name of the dodge that you are attempting, explain how to do it in detail (you can look at other videos if you want to see how to explain it) and show me how to do it as if you were teaching me.  Then show a full speed example so I can see you do it.

Once you are done, parents, this will be our first video submission.  It is easiest if it is in one video, but you can also create a shared folder or similar to share multiple videos.  Use the form below to either upload your single video directly (if it is small enough size) or to give instructions on how I can see your video(s) using YouTube, Facebook, shared file, shared photo album, etc. (I don’t have an Instagram account).  If you are having trouble getting the video(s) to me, here are some helpful links:
